In its LTD line, this product is crafted of hard anodized aluminum and incorporates two pieces: a thick, non-stick pan to provide even heat retention for great cooking, and a heavy-duty press with a loop handle to weigh down sandwiches on a ridged pan surface. Besides giving sandwiches a delicious crunch and an even browning, the All-Clad Panini Pan is also great for grilling meats, veggies and fish. 10" x 8" dimensions.

All-Clad LTD Panini Pan w/ Press4MeribyMay 12, 2010Afriend I visited had just gotten this pan; we experimented with it for DAYS. . . What fun! We made panini sandwiches, grilled vegetables, bacon-layered vegetable quesadillas, burgers, steaks and fish filets . . . everything we could imagine. The bottom pan is aluminium and heats up fast, but the top, which serves as a press, is cast iron and takes a while to heat to the same temperature. You have to put it over a higher flame or put it on the stove before you start heating the bottom -- which is a little counter-intuitive. We did set off the smoke alarms a couple times. but the variety of ways that we used this set was fantastic! Now that I'm home, I'm getting one for myself!
