This Ropetwist platter has gentle contours and dramatically deep carving blended into a very useful tabletop serving piece.  The long, semi-rectangular shape works well on the table and the buffet, and with the carved and textured handle ends this is a one-of-a-kind appetizer serving tray.  Each platter will reflect the character of the mango wood from which it is carved and the artistic choices of the carver.

With an wonderful hand-carved surface of randomly woven textures, Ropetwist Mango is an intriguing addition to the Mangocraft Collection.  Each Ropetwist item is sculpted from a single piece of reclaimed plantation mango, and each is a unique blend of tone, texture, and shape.  The deep surfacing, points and arching edges give individual character to every bowl and dish in the assortment.  There are currently three Ropetwist items: a long, deep serving dish, a smart-sized round bowl, and a nicely contoured serving platter.  Hand wash and dry.  Food-safe, water-based lacquer.
