The newest Riedel Crystal Decanter is called "Twenty Twelve". This beautiful crystal dragon decanter is mouth blown in Austria with the finest lead crystal. The red and black lines are formed from in the blowing process and are not painted on. This decanter is designed to open up young wines that need time and lots of air to breath so they can show off their full potential. Extreme glass making skills are required to mold this special decanter and we are proud our glass makers are able to achieve the desired goals. The Dragon is a legendary creature in Chinese mythology, a symbol of auspicious powers, strength and good luck. Historically, the Golden Dragon was the symbol of the Emperor of China in many Chinese dynasties as a representing his imperial power. Today, it is the ultimate figure signifying Ambition, Success, Passion, Happiness and Luck.
