CucinaPro™ Classic Electric 16" Skillet5MSFMarch 31, 2009The 16" in diameter all stainless steel CucinaPro electric skillet is HUGE ! It let's me make 6 nice-sized breakfast pancakes at a time. It heats up quickly and evenly. The domed glass top with steam release let's you see what's going on inside the skillet and also lets you safely walk away from it to break up the kids fighting over who gets the first pancakes. Like I said - this skillet heats quickly so keep the lid on while heating oil - safer that way. Also, when I said it's HUGE, it actually doesn't fit into what I thought was a normal sized kitchen sink. As such, when the cooking oil cools, just wipe it out with paper towels. If you want to get rid of the browned-on oil, use a stainless-steel safe scrub brush with some liquid soap and then rinse it in the sink. Best of all it is dishwasher proof [the skillet is but NOT the electric plug assembly.] This is a superb and serious product - especially if you have many mouths to feed at once.
