All Delonghi air purifiers are CADR certified by AHAM (The Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers). Look for the CADR-Certified Seal on all De'Longhi air purifiers. CADR indicates the volume of filtered air delivered by an air cleaner. It determines how well an air cleaner reduces pollutants such as dust, pollen and tobacco smoke. The higher the tobacco smoke, pollen and dust CADR numbers, the faster the unit filters the air.

2) Room Size Using this information, AHAM also calculated the recommended maximum room size for each unit. Look for the AHAM CADR-Certified Seal on an air cleaner package, and you'll find the unit's CADR and recommended room size.
