Manufacturing from both Eumundi, Queensland & Byron Bay, New South Wales we pride ourselves on the fact that our cutting boards have only two ingredients: Camphor Laurel & grape seed oil. Camphor Laurel wood grows in a unique way that creates 'length grain' boards with the properties of an 'end grain' boards. Camphor Laurel is considered a hardwood, but is at the softer density of the hardwood scale. These qualities allow our Camphor laurel boards to care for your knives over years of use.

Every Laurelwood cutting boards' working surface is constructed out of ONE PIECE of Camphor Laurel. As such, the grain is different on each board and each piece is handcrafted, making it truly a piece of art.
