About Rubberwood Rubberwood is cut at the end of the latex-producing tree's life-approximately 30 years. When the tree is cut and harvested for timber use, a new tree is planted in its place. The rubberwood in our chopping blocks comes from Malaysia, which is one of the largest producers of rubber in the world. Rubberwood is widely recognized as a sustainable and environmentally friendly timber resource.
