Arrow Products Inc. Airlift Sewing Machine Cabinet – Bertha - Cherry

Bertha was made to fit today's large and heavy sewing and embroidery machines. Her airlift holds a 45 pound machine and will move your sewing machine up and down effortlessly into 3 positions: freearm, flatbed and storage. We have also included the quilt leaf for the back of the cabinet. The leaf will increase your workspace behind the unit, so fragile quilts won't fall on the floor as you pass them through the machine. The leaf slides along a metal rod behind the cabinet for custom positioning to the left of your machine. The two doors on Bertha have a total of 8 storage trays for all your sewing accessories. A cut out in the front allows for machine knee lifters to be used comfortably. Sew with correct posture avoiding stress on your hands, back and neck in any position by sitting in front of your needle for center needle sewing. Curious if your large machine will fit Bertha? The opening will accommodate sewing machines no larger then 22-9/16" wide x 11-3/4" front to back (deep) x 14-1/2" tall.

Will not fit/Not recommended This lists the sewing machines that Arrow knows will not fit into the Sewnatra model 500, 501, 503, and Auntie models: Oakley 900, Em 901, and Black 903. The opening and platform of the cabinet will accommodate sewing machines that are no larger than 12-9-16” front to back, 18-7/8” wide, and 13-1/8” tall. Please measure your machine and include knobs, plugs, etc. that extend beyond the body of machine. If the machine fits tight edge to edge, a custom insert cannot be made. Please note: These cabinets come with a Universal Insert which will accommodate machines that are 17” right to left or less by no more than 7-1/4” front to back. If your machine is larger than the Universal insert opening but fits the cabinet, you may be able to order an optional custom made, machine specific insert.

    The sewing machine width of 23.5” is longer than the platform of the Bertha cabinet and the same width as the opening.

    **This lists the sewing machines that Arrow knows will do not fit or are compatible with the Bertha cabinet model 98700, 98701 and 98702. The opening and platform of the cabinet will accommodate sewing machines that are no larger than 22-9-16” wide, 11-3/4” front to back, and 14” tall. Please measure your machine and include knobs, plugs, etc. that extend beyond the body of machine.

    Baby Lock

  • Ellissimo (BLSO), Ellissimo Gold (BLSOG), Ellissimo Gold 2 : The handles of the BabyLock Ellissimo are wider than the opening of the Bertha cabinet and in order to put the machine into the storage position, the handle must be upright when lowering the platform. Then the machine must be tipped forward to allow you to fold the handle down. This must be done in reverse to bring the machine up.

    Bernina

  • Series 7- 780, 750 QE, 710 : The machines will fit the opening and platform of the cabinet but the height of the machine does not allow the top right leaf to close completely when the machine is in storage position.

    Brother

  • Quattro 3 Trilogy LE Innovis 6750D, Quattro 2 7600D, Quattro, NV6000D & NV6500D The handles of the Brother Quattro are wider than the opening of the Bertha cabinet and in order to put the machine into the storage position, the handle must be upright when lowering the platform. Then the machine must be tipped forward to allow you to fold the handle down. This must be done in reserve to bring the machine up.

    These machines are ones that we know have issues but there may be others especially as new models are introduced. Please measure your machine to be sure yours will fit.
