This Small Vacuum Dome Saver is battery powered and works simply by the touch of a button to remove excess air, moisture and humidity. Dome Savers maintain a constant vacuum to extend the shelf life of food while maintaining as much as possible of its nutritional quality and avoiding the growth of unwanted bacteria. The food grade dome can operate directly on glass shelves or marble countertops provided the surface is clean and smooth, plus it fits easily on the top shelf of most refrigerators while maintaining its vacuum.
